Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026. This policy explains how Prop Neural AI uses cookies and similar technologies on propneuralai.life, and how you can manage preferences through our banner.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites function, remember preferences and measure usage. Similar technologies include local storage entries used by our consent script.
Read this policy together with our Privacy Policy, which describes broader personal information handling under PIPEDA and BC PIPA where applicable.
2. Who is responsible?
Prop Neural AI, 285 West 6th Avenue, Suite 110, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1K6, Canada (BN 840619275 RC0001), is responsible for cookies on propneuralai.life. Privacy enquiries: [email protected].
3. Types of cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies enable core Website functionality and do not require consent under Canadian guidance. Without them, features such as remembering your cookie choice would fail.
Examples include:
- pna_cookie_consent — stores JSON describing your Accept, Reject or Customise choices for analytics and marketing categories. Duration: six months. Path: /. SameSite: Lax.
- Session integrity — basic session identifiers during form interactions where applicable.
3.2 Analytics cookies (consent required)
With consent, analytics cookies help us understand aggregate usage — pages visited, approximate region derived from IP, device type and referral source. Data is aggregated where possible and not sold. Analytics tags load only after you Accept all or save Customise choices with analytics enabled.
3.3 Marketing cookies (consent required)
Marketing cookies, if enabled, may support measurement of campaign effectiveness or remarketing limited to our own services. They are off by default and require explicit opt-in through Customise or Accept all. We do not deploy social advertising pixels without updating this policy first.
3.4 Cookies we do not use
We do not sell cookie data to brokers. We do not use cross-site tracking for unrelated third-party ad networks on this Website.
4. Cookie banner and consent management
First-time visitors see a bottom banner with three actions:
- Accept — enables strictly necessary, analytics and marketing cookies;
- Reject — enables strictly necessary cookies only;
- Customise — opens a modal where you toggle analytics and marketing separately, then Save choices.
Choices persist six months in pna_cookie_consent, then the banner reappears. Change preferences anytime by clearing site cookies and revisiting, or contact [email protected].
5. Third-party cookies and fonts
Hosting is in Canada. Future analytics vendors will be listed here before activation. Google Fonts may involve connection metadata to Google servers; system fallbacks in our stylesheet keep text readable if fonts are blocked.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
Browsers let you view, block or delete cookies:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking all cookies may reset consent memory and show the banner each visit.
7. Personal information and PIPEDA
Cookie identifiers and IP addresses may be personal information under PIPEDA when linkable to an individual. We process them only for stated purposes. Non-essential cookies require consent. Access and complaint rights are described in our Privacy Policy, including contact details for the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and, for BC matters, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC.
8. Changes
We will update this policy when practices change. The "Last updated" date will reflect revisions. New non-essential cookies require renewed consent.
